Spring

The seasons turn, the snow and frosts are gone and at last the days start to lengthen. Even the bare ploughed fields have photographic merit, showing sinuous curves, revealing the contours of the land.


Meanwhile the top field has sprouted with this years crop. Green lines extend to the wide horizon.




A bundle of lunch, last year's hay, in the stable yard. While the fields have their ebb and flow, the business of caring for the horses goes on unchanged though the year.
